If it won't stick to the wall...
I now have 4 of these in my bathrooms, three are 16 inches and this one is 24 inches. I had no problem slapping them on the wall and making them stick with the levers. Very good quality. But this 24" one wouldn't attach to the wall until about 10 tries. Then it did and it's fine. I think it might have helped to soak the arm in warm water to soften the suction cups.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good length and holding power
Reviewed in Canada on July 9, 2021
The bar is nice and long. The longest I found in this price range. It is 20 inches center to center of the suction cups. Very easy to remove and re-position but holds on very strong. Looks good and is well made. If I did not find this, I would have had to buy 2 separate handles. Smooth finish with rubberized grips in the middle. Easy to keep clean. Just clean the surface before attaching the suction cups. Read the instructions, to remove, all you do is lift an edge of the suction cup with your finger nail. I installed it at an angle, but it can be installed in any position you like. Just be aware that it will not stick properly over a tile grout joint or rough surface. It attaches & removes by lifting or pressing down the levers on top of the suction cups. Product does what it's supposed to, very well and also looks good.

This item was acquired to help my wife getting into the shower after a stroke. The item is placed onto porcelain and its suction is excellent. The item has been installed for few month and at first she was not thrusting it. So I do check it for its holding properties and it is been up since its installation. Important to have a clean, smooth and flawless tiles before installation.
